When you wish to travel

When you wish to travel to some spot with interesting culture, warm weather plus beaches, and are set for an “away from everything” place, think Key West, Florida. It is roughly 150 miles from Miami, and is going to take around 3.5 hours to drive to from there. That makes it much closer to Cuba which is only 90 miles distant. But it’ll really seem like you’re in another world, as there is no spot in the United States resembling it.

Key West is a city on the island of Key West, that is roughly four miles long by two miles wide. Until 1912 it had been very remote, at the time Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) opened. The Labor Day hurricane of 1935 ruined the railroad, and the FEC determined not to repair it. The U.S. government at that time rebuilt the route as a highway, opening it in 1938 as a lengthening of U.S. Highway 1.

When you decide to go there, if you are a sun-enthusiast and love the water, this will likely be the spot for you. These are a few of the activities you can opt to do:

1.	Fishing. You can have an excellent deep-sea fishing experience, as there are numerous private boats as well as party boats to use. Flats’ fishing is also very popular in the Florida Keys. It involves no particular equipment or skill-set. You don’t even require a craft. Simply wade out into shallow water and cast a fishing line, and you can hook tarpon and bonefish, as well as additional fish which are routinely found in water that isn’t deep. You’re not about to hook any prize fish, but there will be fish in those shallow waters. Or many choose to make use of a flatbed skiff.

2.	Beaches. Naturally you will find ample beaches, most of them on the south side of the island. Lifeguards are not present around the beaches, so swim at your own risk. But even though you’ll not find some of the Finest Beaches in Florida there, because they are farther up the west coast, those tranquil blue waters as well as coastal reefs help it become popular for swimming and snorkeling.

3.	Diving and snorkeling. The waters in the vicinity of Key West present exceptional snorkeling and diving activities. One can find several charters which book both snorkelers and divers, plus certification courses may be scheduled in many locations.

4.	Golf. Key West contains an 18 hole public course which is located in gorgeous tropical scenery. There is a driving range, pro shop, restaurant and clubhouse.

5.	Cultural experience This really is the thing many people feel sets Key West apart from other holiday destinations. There’s a great deal of history in the region, and museums to tell you about it. You can experience the city taking one of the tour trains or trolleys, and cruise out to the reef to see the island out of another perspective. Key West has always attracted people in the arts, and you will find multiple art galleries displaying local as well as worldwide talent.

When you are searching for What to Visit in Florida, if you happen to be into a laid-back vacation, the Keys will be definitely a place to consider. It will take you a while to get to the place, nevertheless you will feel you’re hundreds of miles from our chaotic cities.

When you watch a fly

When you watch a fly fisher in action, it may look confusing; however, all it takes is a little horse sense to figure things out. A lot of it comes down to looking at things from the point of view of the fish. Your fly fishing techniques and dexterity will be fine-tuned by the advice we give you in this report.

There’s a good reason why so many fishers go out very early in the morning and also at dusk. These are the most productive times of day for catching not only trout, but any other fish you are interested in. As you probably know, if you’ve been outdoors at these times, every insect for miles around comes out of hiding. It’s prime feeding time for the fish. Consequently, if you want to be a successful fly fisher, follow the same pattern and schedule as the insects that the fish come to the surface to eat. This is also why you should always wear insect repellent when fishing, as there will be plenty of real bugs around as you try to fool the fish with your fake ones! In the early morning and early evening, the wind usually dies down. If you try to cast when it’s windy you may find it extremely difficult to achieve any level of accuracy. This is another good reason to fish early in the morning or just before nightfall.

You should always follow proper fishing etiquette, whether you’re fishing close to home or somewhere far away that you may never return to. Until you find out for sure, you should not fish in an area, that might be privately owned, unless you can get permission to fish there, if not, find another location. Don’t fish too close to other anglers, and if anyone else is nearby, ask permission to fish in the same area. If other fishermen are in the area, always go up river from them. Nothing is worse than going on a fishing trip, and walking near the river looking for the perfect spot to catch a bunch of fish, and come on a place where someone left all of their garbage.

You certainly can go fly fishing in a stream and catch trout, but saltwater fly fishing will allow you to catch other types of fish. To handle larger saltwater fish, a rod of at least nine feet, will be part of the heavier equipment that you will need. You should also purchase reels that are durable enough to be resistant to corrosion from saltwater. As with any type of fishing, you should research the area that you’ll be fishing in to discover the best types of lures to use, as you want them to resemble the natural diet of the fish. Florida is a popular place to go, if you want to do some fly fishing in saltwater.

As with most skills, you will have the greatest success as your knowledge of fly fishing increases. Learning the reasons that the fish will bite into your lure are very important for fly fishers. You can’t just go to the water and expect to be successful with no advance preparation. Fortunately, fly fishing is a practice that can give you hours of pleasure while you’re still learning.

Why not capture your fly fishing adventure with camera. You can put a helmet cam or ask your fishing partner to capture the moments. Numerous fly fisher experts favor to use digital camera from Canon such as Canon EOS 7D. Other highly recommended camera is Nikon D7000. You can take a look at the comparison between the two cameras in canon 7d vs nikon d7000 review posting from http://canon50mm12.net.

It’s not difficult to believe

It’s not difficult to believe that many people who plan vacations on Nantucket have visions of beautiful days spent at the beach. In most cases, they probably want to spend time cycling, shopping, and fishing.

Nantucket is an ideal spot for engaging in these sorts of pastimes. Nantucket offers an ideal opportunity to engage in one other sometimes forgotten pursuit: gourmet cooking. Food lovers have a wonderful variety of fresh, local foods to use to make outstanding meals.

Click the link below this video to visit a website about Nantucket.

Nantucket

Definitely drop by Bartlett’s Farm to pick up some fabulous produce, desserts, organic goods, and more. All the ingredients you need to make a delicious meal will be right at your fingertips.

Sweet sea air constantly blows across their fields and probably adds to the process of growing nearly perfect vegetables and even flowers.

Then, stop by one of the island fish stores. Make a trip to Glidden’s Island Seafood, Sayle’s Seafood, or East Coast Seafood. Consider purchasing either swordfish or halibut.

Swordfish and halibut are usually over-the-top wonderful and stand up well to grilling. There are so many ways to prepare them. It’s so simple to just grill and season them with just salt, pepper, and butter.

Grilling over charcoal adds a wonderful smoky flavor to the fish. Grilling on a gas grill will make the fish taste wonderful too. Baking or pan frying are two other choices.

Bartlett’s Ocean View Farm is a great place to procure the ingredients for tomato salad or corn on the cob. Summer is the best time of year to buy these items.

Select your favorite tomato varieties for tomato salad. Cherry, beefsteak, grape, and heirloom are all good choices. Creating a colorful plate is a rule if thumb when preparing a meal. I like to choose a few different colors of tomatoes.

Don’t forget fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. You won’t regret adding some freshly grated parmesan cheese as well.

The corn is simple. All you need is a big pot of boiling water and some butter and salt. Is it becoming clear that salt and butter are the best things to add to make foods taste even better? Just ask any chef.

You won’t regret spending some time making a spectacular, local Nantucket meal. Check out my website to see some memories from my many years visiting Nantucket During The Summer. The site includes photos, videos, and stories about my family spending summers on Nantucket. The site also provides an insiders view of the island and thoughts for preparing and serving meals on Nantucket.

When I was nine years

When I was nine years old, I discovered fishing and pursued it relentlessly. My uncle took me fishing and taught me all kinds if factors about chasing trout and bass in freshwater. Then, the summer I turned twelve, he bought a 17’ center console and took me fishing on the saltwater for the very first time.

This was back within the 1980’s along with the northeast was suffering from an extreme depletion of striped bass due to more than fishing. That meant that for those who were not bottom fishing for flounder, sea bass or scup then you will need to be fishing for bluefish. And, that was the case on my initially saltwater expedition. I caught one fish that morning and it was a fourteen pound bluefish that smacked a large Rebel minnow in about 10 feet of water. Given that that day, bluefish have been one of my very favorite fish.

Given that the rebound in the striped bass fishery throughout the 1990’s, bluefish have surely taken a back seat to the striper. Unfortunately, they have even getting cursed and abused as a by catch to the royal striped bass. But, many anglers nonetheless enjoy pursuing blues basically for what they are. They’re a tenacious, challenging fighting fish that are additional than willing to eat practically anything you throw in front of their faces.

To pursue bluefish effectively, you might want to be able to adapt to diverse fishing styles based on the structure and water depth that the fish are holding at. From time to time, you will find schools of fish feeding on the surface in reasonably shallow water. This could be a excellent circumstance to throw surface plugs on spinning rods. Other times, you might obtain fish hanging on the down existing side of a reef, holding in eighty feet of water. This could be a circumstance best addressed having a diamond or butterfly jig on a conventional rod. It’s greatest to obtain on the market with somebody who fishes your location to obtain suggestions on the gear you might want to fish your local waters.

Fishing with bait is yet another popular approach. The east coast shorelines are teaming with menhaden, also referred to as bunker or pogy. They make for a preferred bait selection for blues. But, any local baitfish species will usually suffice. Bait could be fished either live or dead, though chunked dead bait often gives the most solid hook ups. Given that bluefish have razor filled mouths they’ll often cut live bait in half and they hardly ever swim away using the half using the hook in it. Fishing with chunk bait allows you to regulate the size in the bait so the fish can readily fit the entire piece in its mouth.

Concentrate on places with fantastic moving existing about significant structural points like jetties, rocks, river mouths and reefs. The existing is sped up as water is pushed past these objects by the tide. This tends to disorient baitfish creating it ideal hunting grounds for bluefish. It often helps to constantly have a spinning rod rigged and prepared with either a heavy, silver spoon or perhaps a leading water lure. Bluefish are notorious for producing feeding frenzies, or blitzes, on the surface in the water. A large school of blues will push a ball of baitfish to the surface in the water until they have nowhere else to go along with the bluefish will attack them in the surface, producing a watery explosion. Fish following fish, all performing this in the exact same time creates an astounding website to see. Plus, the fish are striking in the baits so speedily that an angler can hook a fish on practically every single cast.

It’s now funny for me to assume that bluefish are regarded as such second rate citizens when they were the number one sport fish in the time that I initially fished for them. Stripers surely grow much larger than blues. But, if bluefish DID grow as major as stripers do, there would most likely be yet another striped bass population issue. Bluefish will constantly be one of my favorite fish. Not merely simply because they are so aggressive and willing to bite but also simply because they are the fish that got me hooked into the saltwater fishing world forever.

Visit http://www.saltwaterfishing247.com for more information on Daiwa Reels, and Okuma Reels.

Every day increasing numbers of

Every day increasing numbers of people in North America are finding out how thrilling fishing for carp can be. This is a fairly recent development even though carp fishing has been a big sport in Europe for many years. There are many great places to fish for carp, though this can be a challenging type of fish to outsmart. A carp will give you a good fight when you snag one, if they don’t elude you altogether. We’ll list some guidelines you can use so your fishing trips will be successful.

The bait you normally use when fishing for other species of fish may not attract a carp. You have the choice, however, of many different types of bait that they will eat. How many fish do you know that will eat feed pellets, bread balls, and creamed corn? Well, carp love all of these things, so your bait expenses will be very small. Successful carp fishers swear by dough balls as one of the most successful baits to use with carp. You must remember to be careful not to transfer the scents from your hands onto the bait when you handle it. Use the plastic gloves that food handlers use in restaurants or, at the very least, scrub your hands with a soap that doesn’t have a scent. Your strange, human odor will scare off the carp and they won’t even come near your bait. When you’re all set up and ready to fish, throw a handful of your chosen bait into the water to draw the carp to you. This will also make them more trusting of your bait. When you observe the carp eating the bait you tossed onto the water, go ahead and cast your line. Your success rate will soar with this one simple strategy.

Carp can be either attracted or repelled by smells, and you can take advantage of this when fishing for them. Successful carp fishers swear by using creamed corn to get the attention of the carp. You might want to emulate this tactic also.

Carp like corn. Both the taste and the smell get their attention. Grab a handful of fresh corn and throw it upon the water or, better yet, poke a hole into a can of creamed corn and throw it in. The carp will gravitate towards the odor of the corn in the water. In addition, other fish in the area may be attracted to the corn scent as well. This can also make the carp less suspicious of you and more likely to bite when you throw in your line and bait.

Take a little time to observe the carp in your area so you know their habitual activities and inclinations. The first bit of information you should have is that carp like warm water. They do best if the water temperature falls in the 60F – 70F range. Colder waters, such as those below 50F, cause the carp to stop feeding. It’s better to concentrate on fishing for carp in warmer waters. If you look for some type of cover that the carp could hide under – natural, such as brush or fabricated, such as a pier – you may find carp lurking. Good cover for carp include fabricated structures, such as piers and docks, as well as natural vegetation and outcroppings of rocks. The best way to know ahead of time where to go to find the carp is to investigate the area before your first fishing expedition. You may be a great trout fisher, but the methods you use to catch trout won’t give you much success with carp. The same thing goes for any other fishing techniques you may have developed. If you want a fruitful experience when you are planning a carp fishing expedition, memorize our suggestions in this article and become very familiar with the territory and waters in which you plan to fish. Don’t become frustrated if you don’t land a 50 pound carp while you are still learning the ins and outs of carp fishing. Experience will sharpen your skills and instincts, so be patient.

More and more fishermen are utilizing GPS technology to locate fishing hot spots. You are able to discover much more about fishing GPS from marine gps reviews at http://www.gpsreviewsonline.com.

The saltwater Blackfish is part

The saltwater Blackfish is part of the descendants of fish known as blackfish. While this fish isn’t the biggest fish you’ll ever land, they have a powerful fight which makes them good for fishing recreation, and for those who treasure a good fish feast, they make good eating.

The Blackfish can be found anywhere in saltwater between Nova Scotia and South Carolina. You’ll find them hiding out in jetties, shorelines, shipwrecks and in rocks. They desire life by all of the reefs and you’ll find that no matter your particular fishing skills, this fish is going to put you to the test.

The Blackfish has exclusive traits that make them a bit of a challenge for even the best accomplishedanglers|fishermen}. Understanding these traits can increase the probability of landing one of these hard-fighting fish. The main bizarreness of the Tautog is the second set of teeth that resemble molars that can be found in the throat. These teeth allow the Blackfish to break through the shells of their favorite prey, crustaceans. For the angler, this means ensuring that the Blackfish has swallowed enough of their hook to ensure a rewarding catch.

Feeding generally in the daylight hours, the Blackfish heads for their hiding spaces in crevices and caves in the evening hours. If you come across a shipwreck, mussel bed or rocks, you’re likely to find a school of this tautog suppressing in the location. For fishermen, these make the excellent location for catching these hard fighting fish.

Scuba divers often adore the sight of the Blackfish since they tend to reside in areas that are generally observed – shipwrecks and reef beds. For the angler, finding the perfect water temperature (50 – 60 degrees) and the perfect water depth (about 6 feet) means they will likely have some achievement tracking this tautog.

While the Tautog is a good fish for consuming, every angler will be captivated at how much boldness this fish has for its relatively petite size. Even the most skilled angler will have a combat on their hands if they are lucky enough to find themselves snagging this tautog.

Most fishermen come across crabs, mussels, lobsters and clams (the crustacean family) and realize they make the model bait for the Blackfish. Since this is their natural prey it stands to reason this will be the bait that attracts them. For tackle a fishing pole rated 3-8 ounces with hooks of 2/0 or 3/0 increase the chances of a successful catch. If you prefer shore fishing, a large sinker and a spinning fishing pole will be the tackle of choice.

These fish have a powerful instinct for survival and they will {fight|battle|brawl|combat| with everything in them to forbid you from getting hold of them. This includes running towards the suppressing areas that they inhabit to damage your fishing line.

If you prefer softer bait you should use caution when fishing in the fall. This is when cunner and other porgy might seize them from your hook before you come in contact with the Blackfish. The soft baits do work well in the spring, as these species are chiefly less mobile.

Bait rig fishermen will have to exercise some caution. Bait rights that are heavily laden with swivels and beads tend to get hung up in the rocks that the tog is infamous for suppressing in. Bait rigs with limited beads and swivels with an octopus hook will make out best in these conditions. Attach a leader with a sinker to your bait of choice and you’ll have less anxiety about losing a line in the rocks. Make sure that when you do catch a tog that you allow them time to get the hook firmly planted – their second set of teeth are often forgotten and you’ll lose your possibility to reel them in if you do forget.

You will discover a large number of angling equipment available on the market, and choosing the correct ones is amazingly essential. Check out http://www.saltwaterfishing247.com they offer a wide selection of Shimano reels and Penn reel.

Although I do enjoy boat

Although I do enjoy boat fishing, I much prefer fishing from shore. Even I don’t know the exact reason behind it but I think it is because I think hauling a hard-fighting fish from the surf than letting it land on my boat is much more challenging. This point makes me just like other anglers who prefer to have the right fishing tackle with me whenever I go on another adventure with the creatures of the sea. So, over the years, I’ve acquired a substantial collection of fishing gear. One rod I find myself reaching for quite often is my Greys Nitra shore rod. Read on to know why.

Fishing Tackle: Key Features of the Greys Nitra Shore Rod. I am confident about the quality of this model of fishing tackle since it was supported by the Greys brand. I like to conquer challenging locations and so this powerful beachcaster perfectly fits my style of fishing. It’s an exceptionally tough rod, but the toughness doesn’t compromise its ability to perform well. When its light weight is combined with a powerful tip and slim bank, this rod has a capacity of overcoming strong breakers and fast tides which is something that I really like. It also has unparalleled bite detection. Every time I use this rod, I make it a point to match it with a strong terminal tackle that can complement its strength and power.

Fishing Tackle: More About the Greys Nitra Rod

Even when I use soft baits despite of my powerful casting style, this model still provides an excellent performance and the bait also does not get damaged. From my experience, I’ve discovered that this model is a very versatile one and can be used for a number of shore fishing applications. I have no doubt that the designers at Greys created the Nitra with anglers like me in mind. This is my number one choice when I’m about to go fishing on rough or mixed ground because even though it is lightweight and has a slim design, it remains to be well-balanced. Crafted from superior quality components, the Nitra combines exceptional reliability with flawless performance. Greys is the only range of sea rods that offers unconditional and full warranty to its rods.

Fishing Tackle: Final Thoughts on the Greys Nitra Shore Rod

I paid about £230 for my Nitra, and it’s proven to be worth every pence. I think the length of this rod which is 13’6″ is just right for me and it can also cast baits up to a maximum weight of 60z. It has 6’2″ butt length and a 7’4″ tip length. Its black colour is pleasing to look at as well. There are those who say that the rod is heavy and stiff and I also nursed the same viewpoints but that changed when I finally made my first cast. Unlike other rods, this model did not cause any pulling on my arm and I was also very happy to find out that it can cast longer than 200yd. I also really like the sliding trigger feel seat that locks the rod securely into place. This feature is perfect when combined with mid-sized and large-sized reels.

For the premium in top quality shore fishing tackle, I’m pleased to recommend the Greys Nitra rod.
As any experienced angler knows,

As any experienced angler knows, one of the most powerful fish in the world is the black marlin. They are incredibly difficult to locate and even more difficult to successfully reel in. If you are considering going fishing for black marlin, you would be wise to consult with marlin fishing charters that can help you plan your voyage. It would be almost impossible to catch a black marlin if you had no previous experience with the species. By hiring a professional charter company, you will give yourself the best possible chance to catch a black marlin. Charter companies can give you the tools and knowledge necessary to find and catch these magnificent creatures.

Charter Companies

Black marlins are incredible fish that are very difficult to catch and reel in. If you are interested in getting a group of friends together to go hunting for marlin, you should first consider consulting a few marlin fishing charters. They will be able to provide you with assistance in planning your marlin fishing vacation. Without the help of a professional fishing charter, it would be very difficult for a novice angler to have a successful fishing adventure. If you are serious about catching black marlin, you need to find a good fishing charter in the area where you will be traveling to.

Fighting Black Marlin

Black marlin are extremely difficult to catch and even harder to reel in once on the line. These large creatures can fight anglers for hours on end. Black marlins are known to dive down into very deep waters once they are hooked. Towards the end of the fight, black marlin are known to jump picturesquely out of the water to give anglers a beautiful view of how big they are. One of the best ways to fish for black marlin is to troll very brightly colored lures in the water behind your boat. Then, you wait and let the marlin come to you.

Characteristics

There are a few different ways you can spot a black marlin. First, they are known to have a very unique slate underbelly that the blue marlin does not possess. Also, if a black marlin is excited, it may display light strips of blue on its sides. Some black marlin can reach lengths of up to fifteen feet and can actually weigh up to 1,000 pounds. Male black marlin are much smaller than female black marlin, and only weigh about 300 pounds. Black marlin possess long, sharp bills which they gracefully use to devour their prey.

Catching a record setting black marlin is every fisherman’s dream. If you are serious about catching a black marlin you should first consult with a couple of marlin fishing charters. They will be able to offer advice on what types of bait and equipment to use. Fishing for black marlin is more popular than ever before. People all over the world are chasing the thrill of catching a black marlin. In some places, it is actually illegal to keep a black marlin that you have caught. You are required, by law, to tag and release any marlin that you catch. However, if you go fishing with a reputable charter, you will not have to worry about this as they are responsible for making sure you are fishing in a legal manner.

Anglers who have a strong

Anglers who have a strong passion for what they usually find themselves spending lots of their time looking at catalogues or scouring the Internet for fishing tackle discounts. I am specifically a good example of someone who is always on the lookout for a good piece of fishing gear which I can add to my collection. Though it’s not a big issue for me to spend money on a quality reel, I also know that I can find quality yet affordable tackles which will not left me broke for future purchases. I am very much loyal to established brands like Wychwood, Greys, and Daiwa. In the spirit of an angler which shares the same passions as mine, I offer here a short review of the Wychwood Riot Big Pit Reel.

The Key Features of the Wychwood Riot Big Pit Reel

At around 50.0 British Pounds, you will finally have a piece of reel that offers features that you might not even think you need. This model has a durable and machine cut aluminium spool that looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye. One thing that I really like about this fishing tackle is that its rotor and body is made of graphite. I like graphite because it’s a mouldable high-strength material that’s exceptionally light in weight. Graphite also has a high tensile strength, which means it’s very resistant to breakage when subjected to significant force. This feature, I believe, is the one responsible for the superior casting performance and superb balance of this rod. The result of this is that I get more enjoyment when angling for a fish!

Fishing Tackle: More About the Wychwood Riot Big Pit Reel

One thing that I immediately noticed about this rod is its advanced and unique spool design which, in my opinion, contributes to its superior line lay. The line leaves the spool of this rod in much tighter loops as compared to other reels in the same class. As a result, the line flowing through the rod’s rings is improved and I am using one with a 40mm butt and a 12mm tip ring. The tighter line loops produced by the Riot work to decrease line wraps around the butt ring that I’ve sometimes experienced with thicker lines whilst I’m power casting. I am also loving the micro-pitch front drag system of this rod. Why is this important to me? Well, it allows me to go from almost free-running to completely locked down in the minimum number of turns, without affecting the smoothness of the drag.

Fishing Tackle: Final Thoughts on the Wychwood Riot Big Pit Reel

The optimal cranking power, instant anti-reverse, and oversized main shaft are the other features that I really love about this fishing rod. In addition, the reel has an oversized line roller, along with a strong, machined aluminium handle. An extra graphite spool is included in this model which can also hold between 340m and 430m of 15lb test line. I also like the fact that it has a rugged construction since I have the tendency to be hard on my fishing tackle. Trouble-free operation is also offered by the engineered main gears of this reel.

For the greatest in fishing tackle, make it a point to give the Wychwood Riot Big Pit Reel a second look.
In the famous US film

In the famous US film Jurassic Park, the world was introduced to the term raptor, short for velociraptor, which was a particularly vicious predatory dinosaur species. This term also refers to birds of prey in modern biology. Based from Wikipedia, the word which means seize or take by force comes from the Latin rapare. What an amazing and unique name from the Snowbee brand of fishing gear! I always have the vision of something swooping down something and catching his prey with deadly accuracy. Although we sea anglers don’t exactly swoop, we do look for all the advantages we can get when casting a bait or lure into the sea. Provided on this article is a bried review of the Raptor SW-5000 spinning reel which I think is a premium piece of sea fishing tackle.

The Important Features of the Snowbee Raptor SW-5000 Reel Sea Fishing Tackle

Considered as the Raptor’s line largest and most powerful reel. The innovative design of Snowbee has made this reel take the company into a new direction. It is available at a very reasonable price of 69.99 British Pounds and is considered as a good find because it can be used in both fresh and saltwater. It performs smoothly and has the other features you’d expect to see in a Snowbee product. It has a CNC machined aluminium link arm, handles, and spool and is made with lightweight graphite. Its smooth performance is offered by its 8 + 1 high qualityh ball bearings which are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. Stainless steel is also used for the anti-reverse bearing and the rod has an overall solid design with a durable strong brass pinion gear and internal parts that are specially made to resist corrosion. I personally find this a very superior piece of sea fishing tackle.

More About the Model: The Snowbee Raptor SW-5000 Reel Sea Fishing Tackle

Being a sea fisherman, I don’t have any idea about what kind of fish will bite my lure or bait. This rod is a model that is very versatile and has the right capacity to handle even larger saltwater species. It’s also ideal for sea-trout, salmon, and hard-fighting pike. The reel is fitted with a multi-disc carbon fibre and stainless steel front drag system that’s equal to the strongest fish. Its drag only has minimal start-up inertia and a smooth and progressive drag pressure. Its reel can both be used for left and right hand use and comes with an internal bail-trip and a lightweight yet strong aluminium bail arm. Moreover, it is perfect for saltwater use because of its paint finish which is extra hard and chip resistant. It will hold 175yd of 15lb test line, weighs 411g and a spare spool costs 15.99 British Pounds.

About the Company: Snowbee Sea Fishing Tackle Company

I’ve learned that Snowbee UK Ltd is part of the International Snowbee Group, originally founded in Taiwan in 1978. The branch in UK enjoys the backing and solid support of its mother company. It has offices in Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, US, and Taiwan. It manufactures its products in Taiwan, China, Korea, and UK.

For the premium sea fishing tackle, I recommend that you include the Snowbee Raptor SW-5000 reel in your list of considerations.
