BP Says Leaking Oil Pipe Has Been Siphoned
And no it wasn’t done with tires and golf balls! But BP reports that the gushing oil leak is has now been diverted to a mile long pipe that pumps oil into a tanker ship. This is major success for a desperate British Petroleum, but the danger is not over. Although this is a major step, we could be back at square one at any time. BP executive say “It’s a positive move, but let’s keep in context, We’re about shutting down the flow of oil from this well.” The pipe is just a temporary solution to what has become a major problem in the gulf. Much of the oil spill has already reached the gulf loop which is expected to carry it to the Florida Keys.
